Yulia was a visitor to Canda for many years who was hosted by a member of OVACC.  These questions were asked about her visits to Canada.  Here is what she answered:

1. What's your favorite memory of your visits to Canada ?

It's hard to mention only one specific memory I would say there were so many, like getting to know so many good people, improving my health for sure, having a great relaxing vacation, and getting to see amazing and interesting places that we got to go to.

2. How has your life changed because of your visits and relationship with your host family?

The most valuable thing from this experience was getting basically a second family who loves me like their own, helps and cares about me and my family. And I got to improve my English as well which is great.

3. How have your visits to Canada helped your family?

My host family helped me to pursue my post-secondary education which I will forever be grateful for, this was such an important part of my life making my future happier and more successful. As well as when staying with my host family over quite a few years - all the gifts, clothes, all the other finacial help they provided is priceless, my family would always be grateful for that. My sister got to go to Canada as well, and share the great experience i had.  My host family helped my sister in that way as well.

4. Any other comments and observations?

I would just say how grateful I am to my host family and will always be grateful for everything they did for me and my family. I love you very much, remember you and think of you all the time.
